上一節課我們已經把合同的主體部分講解完了，今天還剩合同的尾部（end）。

　　尾部包括合同的備注說明，簽約雙方的簽名，有效期，法規依據等內容。比如：this contract shall come into effect after signature by the both parties. this contract is made out in two original copies, one copy to be held by each party.
本合同經雙方簽字后立即生效。一式兩份，雙方各執一份。

　　通常，在簽字的時候，不僅要有打印的字體，雙方還要有手寫體的簽名。

　　合同翻譯中還有一些常用的詞組，這些詞組和我們平時所用的有些不同，看以下例子：

1. 盡管(despite, in spite of)：在合同中我們通常使用notwithstanding

2. 依據：according to; in accordance with; under; subject to; as provided in; …

3. 鑒于：hereof; hereto; herein; hereby; hereinafter; hereunder; whereby; whereas; …

4. 因為：because of; on account of; due to; attribute to; by virtue of; …

5. 保證：undertake to; represent and warrant; guarantee; warrant; …

6. 有義務做：be obliged to do sth.; have the obligation to do sth.; shall; be responsible / liable for

7. 完成：effect;…

　　此外，對于合同的翻譯，還要注意：1. 詞序變化較大，尤其是狀語的變化；2. 使用短語代替從句，是結構緊湊；3. 善于使用被動語態；4. 使用否定前提來強調。
