　　Daxinganling is also rich in mineral resources and water resources.

　　Daxing'anling is an area where government and enterprise are in one. Thecounty governs three counties and ten forestry bureaus. Jiagedaqi is thepolitical, economic and cultural center and an important transportation hub ofthe Great Xing'an Mountains. It is an open city approved by the State Council.It is known as the "Pearl of the green sea", "Linhai wharf" and "forest capitalof northern China".

　　Welcome to the Great Xing'an Mountains.

　　Daxing'anling region is the administrative region with the northernmostposition and the highest latitude in China. It lies on the Xiaoxing'an Mountainsstretching thousands of miles in the East, the Hulunbeier Grassland in the west,the vast and fertile Songnen Plain in the south, the rolling Heilongjiang Riverin the north, and Russia across the river. The border is 792 kilometers long.The geographical coordinates of Daxinganling area are 121 ° 11 ′～ 127 ° E.W

　　It is 365 km long from north to South and 355 km wide from east to west,with a total area of 10000 square kilometers.

　　The mountains and hills of Daxinganling range from 700 to 1300 meters inheight, and the highest peak in the territory, Dabai mountain, is 1628 metersabove sea level. Yilehuli, the main branch of the Great Xing'an Mountains, liesin the middle of the area, extending 230 kilometers from west to East, whichmakes the Great Xing'an Mountains have a distinct south slope and north slope,and makes the Heilongjiang River and Nenjiang River watershed. The north of thefive ridges is dominated by low mountains and hills, which is the main area offorest distribution. According to the survey, the forest area of Daxing'anlingis the largest timber production base in China with a total volume of 100million cubic meters. In the alluvial belt of Hegu in Xing'an, there are 450000hectares of arable land, 2 million hectares of barren mountain grassland and alarge area of wetland that can be transformed.

　　Daxinganling is a wildlife park of heaven and man. In the forest, there aremore than 50 species of animals, such as black bear and moose, more than 20species of hazel fowl (flying dragon) and pheasant, more than 20 species ofprecious fish, such as salmon, and 10 species of wild animals with precious fur,such as otter and sable. There are more than 400 kinds of wild plants, such asRhododendron, wild rose, Paeonia lactiflora, Astragalus membranaceus, Schisandrachinensis, and more than 400 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines, which constitutea colorful natural herb garden.

　　Daxinganling is rich in mineral and water resources. There are more than 30kinds of proven mineral deposits, such as gold, manganese, iron and copper, with126 tons of gold reserves and 123.2 billion tons of coal geological reserves. Bythe end of 1999, the region has more than 10 gold mines with a productioncapacity of 100000 Liang, which is the key gold producing area in China.

　　Daxing'anling area is a government enterprise integration area. At present,Daxing'anling administrative office and Daxing'anling Forestry Group Co., Ltd.jointly work. They now have jurisdiction over three counties, four districts andten forestry bureaus. Jiagedaqi, where the administrative office and theforestry group company are located, is the political, economic and culturalcenter and an important transportation hub of the Great Xing'an Mountains. There are 22 ethnicgroups in the region, including Han, Manchu, Hui, Korean, Oroqen, Ewenki andDaur, with a population of 540000.

　　Beautiful Daxinganling in my mind, has always just appeared in the book,listen to the name, I always thought it was a fairyland in the fairy tale. Whenthey told me that I was standing at the foot of the Great Xing'an Mountains, Isaw a little bit of it. I can't believe that the Great Xing'an Mountains arestationed in the Inner Mongolia grassland where I am fascinated. I can't believeit's lying right in front of me. Sitting in the car, looking at the mountainsnearby, white clouds floating on the top of the mountain. The blue sky thatoccasionally leaks from the crevice of the cloud is like the sea water scatteredon the ground. The primeval forests on the mountain are unique. The "tall,short, fat and thin" of trees are almost the same. No tree will be a littlehigher or a little shorter. The mountain is neither high nor dangerous, so itgives people a soft feeling. There is no protruding rock on the mountain; thereis no suddenly broken cliff; there is no bare cliff. Even where there is noforest, it is covered with green grass. Occasionally, you can see large wildflowers or a beautiful dandelion wrapped in white fluff. Trees are a kind ofcolor, with a special sense of hierarchy. From the bottom of the dark greenslowly upward, the upper part of the forest is slightly lower, but green. Theforest above is a whole, giving people the feeling of fluffy. Every tree isstanding and vigorous. They stretch the branches to their heart's content andattach vigor and luxuriance to every tree. Further up, the top of the mountainis covered with emerald green. The whole mountain is like a brush with differentpigments, gently brushing on the mountain. The mountains in the Great Xing'anMountains are not so adventurous. The whole mountain, as if in computer art withelegant arc hook out the same. 　　Winter report, cold wind blowing. Wanton cold, sword like sharp, allpervasive. We throw away our fatigue, emancipate our minds, open our hearts,enjoy the world of children, enjoy the wonders of mountains and rivers, and drawthe essence of sun and moon.

　　At this time, we are in the car, crawling on the silver snake like road,driving to the watershed between Inner Mongolia and Songliao Plain -Daxinganling.

　　The sound of stumbling along the way accompanied us to the Great Xing'anMountains. The temperature in Daxinganling is - 2.8 ℃, which is quite differentfrom that in Shenzhen. Living in Shenzhen for a long time, I can't stand thisvicious cold devil. Although it's cold, the scenery here is beautiful.

　　Standing on the mountain, looking into the distance, the trees are linedwith Qionghua, the trees are cold, the trees are full of jade, the branches arefull of snow. Rows of pines and cypresses seem to be coated with white frost,covered with snowflakes, snow embroidered lace natural and unrestrained, whitefringes picturesque. Every row of pines and cypresses is so white, the color isso gorgeous, sometimes it looks like purple, sometimes it looks like dark blue,with the change of the natural scenery, the natural beauty is fullydisplayed.

　　In winter, the snow mountains in Daxinganling are even more beautiful. Theyare undulating, various in shape, steep and dangerous, which makes people awe atthe sight; they are undulating, winding, and magnificent; they are graceful,rising and towering, like "my fair lady".

　　The cottages on the snow mountain are dotted with black and white, and thecolor of each cottage is uniform black, full of peculiar style. From a distance,it looks like a black star on the snow mountain. Hiding in the snow, we playhide and seek with us, which makes us feel that this small village is so simpleand pure.

　　Taoyuan Lake in Daxinganling is surrounded by mountains and covered withice. It is a good place to enjoy the snow and skate. It is equipped with sledsand horse ploughs. Someone can go to the ice and snow to play, want to skate allday just as you want.

　　At the end of the journey, the cold wind rolled the thin smoke, andhesitated in the chilly mist. I walked on the soft and steady snow, bringingback my good mood, good memory, and the moonlight all the way.
