　　Having fun

　　When having to make a choice most people think they have to choose between the two. Far too often people go for the latter and naturally choose fun. For instance many people would prefer watching television, or more commonly known as TV to exercising, we all know that it’s true, right? The problem is, if you don’t exercise you will become weak and ultimately out of shape and it is no fun to be out of shape, right? So the question is, why not turn exercise into fun?

　　As an example, if TV is your favorite thing to do, why not connect your TV set to an electric generator that is charged by a stationary bike, you know, the kind of bike you peddle, that doesn’t go anywhere. So think about it, the more you watch TV, the fitter you’ll be.

　　Now if you are the kind of person who thinks listening to music is fun and you spend many hours alone tap tap tapping your fingers and your toes to the beat, why not take it one step further and get up on your feet and dance, dance, dance.

　　Or maybe you’re the type of person who prefers being with your friends. There are many ways one could have fun with their pals. For instance you could just hang out and do nothing or better yet you could get into a friendly game of basketball or football there is no rule that says everyone has to be as good as Yao Ming or David Beckham, right?

　　However sometimes there just aren’t enough players, or you may even be alone in which case you could go for a ride on your bike, maybe, stop by the library to borrow a book, or go for a walk around the park and enjoy the sunshine and scenery. Before you know it, you’re having fun.

　　Let’s face it, exercise is work and when we think of work we think of thankless underpaid hardships yet it needn’t be this way, if we think of exercise as fun.

　　We love beautiful spring. We cherish bright sunshine. But sandstorms destroy all the lovely things. Yet we know it is Mother Nature's revenge on what we have done to her. In order to see blue sky and sunny spring again, we should plant more trees and more grass to protect the environment. And it is not too late if we start right now.

　　It happened in italy four centuries b.c. A young man named pi sia was sentenced to death, because of having offended the tyrant. pi sia was a filial son,and he asked to see his old mother before death. The king promised him, but set down the condition that he must find another person to be in prison instead of him. The condition was so critical that it was almost impossible to be realized. But pi sia did find such a man, who was his friend named dameng. Then pi sia went home to bid farewell with mother as he wished.

　　Days passed quickly, and the term of imprisonment was near at hand, but pi sia had not turned back yet. Most people ascertained that pi sia had deceived his friend.

　　It was a rainy day when demeng was sent to the execution ground, all persons watching around laughed at him, but demeng himself was not worried at all. The rope was hanging on his neck, and just at the critical moment, one person ran quickly through the rain shouting loudly,"please wait, I'm coming!" it was pi sia who turned back in time.

　　This was the most moving curtain in the world. demeng took no care of himself in order to help his friend realize the duty, whose kind of spirit was moved one to tears. While pi sia did not hesitate to take life as the price for performing the promise, whose kind of courage was also rare to meet. My dear friends, do you know why demeng was so calm before death? the reason was that he believed his friend pi sia would not do such despicable thing as deceiving friends. This depended on the strength of trust.

The rope was hanging on his neck, and just at the critical moment, one person ran quickly through the rain shouting loudly,"please wait, I'm coming!" it was pi sia who turned back in time.

　　This was the most moving curtain in the world. demeng took no care of himself in order to help his friend realize the duty, whose kind of spirit was moved one to tears. However, when we drive on a highway, everything becomes different. The road is smooth, straight, and visible. Since there is no unseen obstacle, we may lower our guard, relax a bit, and loosen our grip on the steering wheel. One may even think, if we only have to drive on a smooth straight road like this highway, why would we need a steering wheel?

　　Faith is unique, just as happiness is. We feel happy for different reasons, we believe for different things. How can we know what we believe in? Recall the last time you are discouraged, and you felt you had lost all hopes in your life. What pulled you back into the world? What pushed you to stand up and continue to strive again? 　　It is a commonplace among moralists that you cannot get happiness by pursuing it. This is only true if you pursue it unwisely. Gamblers at Monte Carlo are pursuing money, and most of them lose it instead, but there are other ways of pursuing money, which often succeed. So it is with happiness. If you pursue it by means of drink, you are forgetting the hangover. Epicurus pursued it by living only in congenial society and eating only dry bread, supplemented by a little cheese on feast days. His method proved successful in his case, but he was a valetudinarian, and most people would need something more vigorous. For most people, the pursuit of happiness, unless supplemented in various ways, is too abstract and theoretical to be adequate as a personal rule of life. But I think that whatever personal rule of life you may choose it should not, except in rare and heroic cases, be incompatible with happiness. If you look around at the men and women whom you can call happy, you will see that they all have certain things in common.

　　The most important of these things is an activity which at most gradually builds up something that you are glad to see coming into existence. Women who take an instinctive pleasure in their children can get this kind of satisfaction out of bringing up a family. Artists and authors and men of science get happiness in this way if their own work seems good to them. But there are many humbler forms of the same kind of pleasure. Many men who spend their working life in the city devote their weekends to voluntary and unremunerated toil in their gardens, and when the spring comes, they experience all the joys of having created beauty. The whole subject of happiness has, in my opinion, been treated too solemnly.

　　It had been thought that man cannot be happy without a theory of life or a religion. Perhaps those who have been rendered unhappy by a bad theory may need a better theory to help them to recover, just as you may need a tonic when you have been ill. But when things are normal a man should be healthy without a tonic and happy without a theory. It is the simple things that really matter. If a man delights in his wife and children, has success in work, and finds pleasure in the alternation of day and night, spring and autumn, he will be happy whatever his philosophy may be. If, on the other hand, he finds his wife fateful, his children’s noise unendurable, and the office a nightmare; if in the daytime he longs for night, and at night sighs for the light of day, then what he needs is not a new philosophy but a new regimen--a different diet, or more exercise, or what not. Man is an animal, and his happiness depends on his physiology more than he likes to think. This is a humble conclusion, but I cannot make myself disbelieve it. Unhappy businessmen, I am convinced, would increase their happiness more by walking six miles every day than by any conceivable change of philosophy.

Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young trees .so the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.

　　As we all know, the most important thing in life is our attitude towards it, lots of men have tried different ways of treating life, and some succeeded, some failed, and here are some of the tips they left us. Life isn’t about keeping score. Life isn’t about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin. 　　In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon's mouth.

　　He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.

　　When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one's error.

　　Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. I would like to say to all of my friends: Let's be honest people of good moral character.

　　作為“青島早報”的小記者，我采訪了英國馬可·波羅國際研究委員會總裁詹姆斯·吉爾曼博士。請看這張照片，這位是詹姆斯，這是我，我們正在看一顆“龍牙”.這是一個真實的故事：

　　65年前，詹姆斯一家住在青島，當(dāng)時他只有5歲。他經(jīng)常去青島水族館，那兒陳列的一個巨大的生物標(biāo)本使他著迷。他認(rèn)為那是一條“龍”,他既懼怕又喜歡它鋒利的牙齒，想擁有一顆作為寶貝來珍藏。

　　上個世紀(jì)30年代末，當(dāng)日本人開始侵占青島的時候，他們家不得不離開青島返回英國。在青島的最后一天，他跑到水族館，從“龍” 的嘴里拔出了一顆“龍牙”.

　　他將這顆“龍牙”珍藏了65年。但是，由于“偷”了這顆“龍牙”,負(fù)罪的感覺一直伴隨著他，他的良心時時受到譴責(zé)，年老后尤為強烈。最后，他決定要改正兒時的錯誤。20xx年，他訪問了青島，帶著真誠的道歉將這顆“龍牙”交還給了青島水族館，他受到了熱烈的歡迎。

　　巴蜀中學(xué)最有名的是管理和上的特色，請聽我簡單介紹。

　　一、學(xué)校特色：

　　從學(xué)校層面上講，我校建校不久，能做出理想的成績在于管理，我校實行封閉式管理，不管是周末回家出校，外出買東西出校，還是平常出校，一律憑專用假條出校，走讀生憑走讀證出校。不管是平時午休還是周末，每個年級安排有值班教師清點學(xué)生，要保證該在學(xué)校的一個不差，該在家的一個不少。食堂、小賣部、小吃等地方也有教師值班，以保障學(xué)生就餐安全。

　　老師們在教學(xué)中嚴(yán)格按照集體備課的要求，五統(tǒng)一，即統(tǒng)一資料，統(tǒng)一進(jìn)度，統(tǒng)一課件，統(tǒng)一作業(yè)，統(tǒng)一思路，實現(xiàn)所有的資源共享，以達(dá)到年級的最佳組合。我校的考試很有特色，有周考，月考，半期考，期末考等多種形式，完全是以考代練，學(xué)生已經(jīng)養(yǎng)成了自覺考試，獨立考試的習(xí)慣，因此無人監(jiān)考的'情況下學(xué)生的成績也基本真實。

　　二、班級簡介：

　　首先我認(rèn)為：學(xué)生是一個人，應(yīng)該讓其成人，所以我特別強調(diào)"做人有德",就是要培養(yǎng)學(xué)生高尚的品格，懂文明，講禮貌，尊老愛幼，做一個有良好道德品質(zhì)的社會公民，做一個有理想有抱負(fù)的孝心孩子，做一個有良好學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣的學(xué)生，總之，培養(yǎng)他將來必須是一個對社會有用的人。

　　其次，我強調(diào)"做事有法"，那就是重視方法指導(dǎo)，教學(xué)生學(xué)會思考，做一個思想的智者，一個會思考的聰明人，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生眼中有事。在生活中，學(xué)習(xí)上，處處鍛煉他們分析問題，思考問題，解決問題的能力，培養(yǎng)他們的綜合素質(zhì)。

　　在學(xué)生身心健康成長的前提下，再以"智育"為中心，狠抓紀(jì)律與學(xué)習(xí)，對學(xué)生進(jìn)行升學(xué)成才教育。我要求學(xué)生每天提前預(yù)習(xí)，認(rèn)真聽講，記好課堂筆記，課后及時復(fù)習(xí)，獨立完成老師布置的作業(yè)，要求每天都有新的收獲，每天都有進(jìn)步。我根據(jù)學(xué)生的小學(xué)基礎(chǔ)、智力等實際能力為他們制定了合適的學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)，讓其通過努力達(dá)到目標(biāo)，去體會成功的喜悅。
